Jaguar Land Rover kicks off the show
After slushing through the freezing rain we boarded the bus bound for McCormick Place, home of the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. Yes, typical Chicago weather — they’re expecting a couple inches of snow. I’m hungry so we are off to the Midwest Automotive Media Association (MAMA) breakfast where the president of Jaguar Land Rover NA, Andy Goss, is the speaker. Jaguar Land Rover NA will launch a series of all-wheel-drive sedans in 2013, along with Land Rover’s all-new Range Rover. At the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, which opens to the public on Saturday, Feb. 9, Jaguar will highlight the all-weather capabilities of the Instinctive All Wheel Drive™ in the Jaguar XF & XJ sedans, Jaguar XK grand tourer, and the all-new convertible Jaguar F-TYPE sports car. Land Rover will showcase the all-new 2013 Range Rover featuring an all-aluminum unibody, Land Rover’s bestselling vehicle, the Range Rover Sport, the award winning Range Rover Evoque, the versatile and capable Land Rover LR4, and the newly revised Land Rover LR2.
