Remember this one from last year’s LA Auto Show? The 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, named after the infamous Stelvio Pass and touted as the world’s fastest production SUV, proved its speed at Nürburgring in a record 7 minutes 51.7 seconds, fastest time ever posted by a production SUV. With 505 horsepower, powering it from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 177 mph, there’s an all-aluminum 1750 turbocharged and intercooled engine under the hood with direct-injection and dual variable-valve timing, bolstering supercar-level performance.
Alfa Romeo’s Stelvio Quadrifoglio goes on sale in early 2018. The Stelvio and Stelvio Ti are on sale now with an Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of 41,995 and $43,995, respectively. Check out below this YouTube video of the Nürburgring lap.
